I just tried Billy's Bootcamp Maximum Power. Also known as Billy Blanks Mission Two, this workout goes for the burn. It is suppeosed to boost your metabolism and help your break through weight-loss plateaus that would otherwise sabotage your weight loss plans.

Billy Blanks Maximum Power is a strength training workout. You work with the Billy Bands, which are weights and resistance bands all in one, to tone your body. It targets the problem areas mercilessly. You know the flabby bit under the arm? I have a major problem with those. The first part of the workout attacks that area. I couldn't do the exercises properly cos I just didn't have the strength for it. After just 10 minutes, I felt like giving up, but managed to push on through the entire 45 minute workout.

The second half of the workout relentless attacks that big butt and thunder thighs. This workout is definitely targetted at the problem spots most of us face. By the end of it, I was exhausted. Still, I went for the bonus 8 minute workout after that. That was a series of strength training moves to tighten the entire body.

I was too tired to gorge myself for lunch after that. Haven't started aching yet, but after the getting started workout that left my sides aching when I woke up the next day, I'd expect some major aches and pains on my arms and butt tomorrow. That goes to show the workout is working right?
